BITFLIP – THE JOURNEY OF BIT

A 1-bit pinball adventure made for Playdate.

Bit, a tiny pinball, travels from world to world. Every world is its own multi-level table with its own story, music, quirk – and a guardian boss. Beat the boss and the journey continues.

WORLDS

- Deep Sea – buoyancy slows the ball, bubbles lift it, currents push it sideways. Guardian: the Kraken.

- Summit Storm – an icy table with three levels, wind gusts and a cow on the alpine pasture. Guardian: the Ice Golem, who freezes your flippers.

- More worlds are planned (Orbit, Haunted Castle).

FEATURES

- Crank-powered plunger with a skill zone, crank rotor and dynamo → TURBO x2

- Missions per world, world multiball, combos, boss fights

- Career: 15 ranks, XP, missions, bonus cards and ball designs

- Short runs (3 balls, ~5 minutes) – or grind your career for an hour

- Original chiptune soundtrack, one theme per world and boss

The game is currently in German only.

INSTALLATION (sideload)

1. Download BitFlip-0.3.1.pdx.zip

2. Log in at play.date → Account → Sideload, upload the zip file

3. On your Playdate: Settings → Games, refresh, then find BitFlip in your library

This game was developed with the help of generative AI for code, pixel graphics (drawn in code), music, sound effects and text, directed and tested by me.
